like a nymph
At the last warm automn days, I love to make a picnic by the river. It's to cold to go swimmig, but it's refreshing and healthy to dip your feet in the water. I'm wearing my favourite necklace, it's from Mali, the cross of the south, the sign for the tropic of cancer and the Sahara. Maybe it can heat the days a bit.
I like the combination, of soft, light colours.

summer spirit
The last weeks were very hot, so I could wear my new skirt. I think this picture really looks like summer, and I love the lace shirt. I took this picture in a beautiful italian city.

mint nails
I really love this mint nail polish, the colour is so fresh and cool. And I'm a fan of bracelets! They make every thing look more. The right one is from Thailand, the silver bangle is from Ethiopia, and the one with the cowrie shells is from Mali. I`ve made the left one by myself and the two others are presents from my friends.

A day by the river
I'm sorry that there were no posts for a long time, but I had a problem with my computer.
But, here I am again. I wear a skirt from kling (see my post Barcelona!), I love the print, it looks simple, but cool. and I also really like the combination of red, white and black, paired with the jeans vest.
I wear a necklace from Kenia, I love african artworks!

Viva la vida!
I have to say that I'm a huge fan of Frida Kahlo, here paintings are so colourful, and expressive.
But here life was very hard, at the age of 19 she had an accident which caused pain her whole life. But she was very strong and lerned to deal with it. I admire her for her belief in life and her are real inspirating. I also love the film "Frida" starring Salma Hayek. You can take a look at her homepage, it has a magnificent design.
And, always remember her motto "Viva la vida!"

Barcelona!
I'm back from my trip to Barcelona, unfortunately the trip got a bit shorter than we planned, but it was great anyway. Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been, everywhere you go are street artists, vintage-shops, artworks,... My favourite quarter is Barri Gòtic, it's in the historic city centre. There you can find narrow streets, small, cute shops and original restaurants. The picture above shows the harbour at night.
Here are some shops you have to see:
1. in the gelateria gelaaati you can find handmade ice crem with very special flavours
2. the organic market woki has a very special design and is also a restaurant with a broad choice of food
3. kling is a shop where you can find cool clothes which are not to expensive
4. at papabubble you can watch how candy is made out of sugar

black and lace
This is my new jumpsuit and it brought my to the dicision that you always find the coolest pieces hidden in the corners between lots of other stuff. You really have to dig throught the shop, and even if you don't like anything at the first sight, you may find quiet cute things. this jumpsuit is plain, but also something special and it's one of my best fashion-discoveries. I paired it with a necklace my mother brought me from Ethiopia and with lots of bracelets. Next week I'm off to Barcelona, so there'll be no posts.
